The S1-37327868403 is an 'A' design 3-row indoor evaporator coil for York HVAC equipment. This uncased coil measures 14" in height and 21" in width. It features aluminum coil fins and a tin coating that provides enhanced resistance to formicary corrosion.
The unit includes a liquid line tube and a black drain pan. The liquid line is connected to the thermostatic expansion valve, which is linked to the refrigerant distributor. The drain pan collects condensation, preventing water leaks and potential damage to flooring, particularly in areas with floorboards or wood floors.
What is an A-flex indoor evaporator coil?
The A-flex evaporator coil is generally located inside the furnace, where it will absorb the heat of the surrounding air. As the warm air circulates over the coil, the refrigerant inside the coil evaporates and effectively draws out the heat. The air becomes cooled, circulating back into the living space. The absorbed heat is eventually transferred to the condenser unit, maintaining a balanced and efficient cooling cycle.
