The S1-02538739042 is a thermal expansion valve that has a 3/8" x 3/8" connection size with a 30" capillary length. It has a 2-ton nominal capacity and up to 98 psi pressure rating.
The thermal expansion valve's function is to regulate the flow of refrigerant that goes into the system. The unit is suitable for heat pump outdoor unit applications. The 181209 element replacement part is also available.
